Vastura Travel — Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-26 Version 0.7
1. Who this applies to
Vastura Travel is a DBA of Vastura Ltd, a Canadian company based in Alberta. Vastura Ltd is the legal entity that operates Vastura Travel; every reference to "Vastura Travel," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy means Vastura Ltd.
Registered address: Vastura Ltd, 62431 Range Rd 443, Ardmore, Alberta T0A 1H0, Canada
This policy applies to everyone who uses Vastura Travel — travellers browsing or submitting feedback and reviews, and Providers with a listing (including each service line, where a Provider runs more than one). It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and our Provider Agreement.
2. Rules for Providers
You may not:
- publish false or misleading listing content — including prices, availability, inclusions, photos, or descriptions that don't match what you actually deliver
- submit or solicit fake reviews, including reviews from staff, family, or paid reviewers posing as genuine customers
- review your own listing, under any account or identity
- edit a traveller's review, or pay or otherwise induce anyone to have a review removed
- retaliate against a traveller for submitting honest feedback, including threats, harassment, public attacks, or attempts to identify and pressure an anonymous reviewer — retaliation is grounds for removal from Vastura Travel (see our Dispute Resolution Policy)
- misuse a stage badge (Vetted, Quality checked, or Service audited) or any other Vastura Travel mark — including displaying a stage you haven't reached, displaying one after suspension or ban, or implying a level of assessment you haven't actually received
- attempt to identify, influence, or treat differently an assessor conducting an announced quality check or an anonymous service audit
- impersonate another operator, individual, or Vastura Travel itself
- represent any Vastura Travel assessment, score, or stage badge as a safety certification, inspection, or regulatory approval — Vastura Travel does not provide these (see Terms of Service, Section 3, and Provider Agreement, Section 4)
3. Rules for travellers
You may not:
- submit false or fabricated reviews or feedback about an operator, or submit review-verification proof (Privacy Policy, Section 5) that is fabricated or doesn't genuinely relate to your own visit
- harass an operator, its staff, or other users
- impersonate another person, an operator, or Vastura Travel
- use Vastura Travel to scrape, automatically collect, or bulk-extract listing data, operator contact details, or other site content without our written permission
- attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the security or normal functioning of the site
4. Rules for everyone
You may not:
- use Vastura Travel for any unlawful purpose
- upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights
- use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access Vastura Travel except for standard search engine indexing that we permit
- misuse the Vastura Travel name, logo, or stage/badge marks in any way not expressly permitted
5. Consequences
Violations of this policy may result in, depending on severity:
- removal of the offending content
- a warning (for Providers, under our disciplinary ladder)
- suspension of a listing
- a permanent ban from Vastura Travel
See our Provider Agreement for the full disciplinary ladder that applies to Provider violations, and our Dispute Resolution Policy for how traveller feedback and complaints are handled.
6. Reporting a violation
If you believe someone has violated this policy, contact us at travel@vastura.ca.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
